Dr Mancestein’s Mad Science Castle

26th – 27th October

St Anne’s Square, Manchester

Explore the remains of Dr Mancestein’s exploded castle and meet her monster, Liam! You can expect science and slime plus loads of entertainment. If that’s not enough for you, you can get lost in the poisonous maze that surrounds the castle. Deadly, walking, talking bushes, it isn’t for the faint hearted.

DJ Ghostman and MC Pumpkinhead

26th – 27th October

Market Street, Manchester

From a souped up DJ Truck comes a ghoulishly good playlist from the legendary DJ Ghostman. Joined by C Pumpkinhead, this is a DJ set that you don’t want to miss. Dance along to your favourite Halloween hits and enjoy the spectacular disguise of DJ Ghostman.

Painted Pumpkin Workshop at Ordsall Hall

27th October

Ordsall Hall

A modern twist on pumpkin carving, head to Ordsall Hall to paint a pumpkin with acrylic paints. Everyone will get a homegrown pumpkin to decorate and £10 tickets should be booked in advance. It’s part of the Urban Living Programme and as well as the pumpkin decorating, there will be talks, activities and exercise classes to get involved in throughout the day.

Manchester has had a spooky makeover so go and explore the pumpkin lanterns that are dotted around the city. Whether you’re into selfies or scares, you will love the lanterns hidden in the city.
